Our Guest Musicians

Anthony Salvo has been a student of music and violin for over 40 years, He is an improvisational artist who has performed with Tumblebones, Playback Theatre West, Gypsy Swing Revue, Free Range String Quartet, and many other dance/CI evens in the Boulder area. He has dedicated his life to the study, performance, and teaching of the spiritual, musical, and healing arts in order to bring an uncommon demonstration of intuitive, celebratory music making. James Hoskins provides musical accompaniment (cello, percussion, folk oboe, saz, piano, and more!) for dance classes at the University of Colorado, improvises musically with Playback Theatre West, and performs with musical groups the Buzz Band, Akemi Iwase's Tokyo Tribe, County Road X, New Land Balkan Band, and Sherefé. Brian Mullins is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and performer with the Irish ensemble Colcannon, the instrumental group Laughing Hands, the New Mandolin Quartet, BogBlossom, the One String Circus and the Chinese spike fiddle band, "Erhoopla Ensemble". Brian has been a featured soloist with symphonies and chamber orchestras. Brian has performed hundreds of school assemblies presenting music from around the world. He is currently artist in residence at Colorado College. His music was featured in short film and public television specials. Brian's compositions have been referred to as "some of the most innovative and unique music to emerge from this area" by the Boulder Weekly and "musical exotica often verging on the exquisite" by Westword magazine. Brian teaches fiddle classes for Boulder Suzuki Strings.
 
 

Everyone, regardless of skill level or experience, is welcome to attend.  And, if you can't make the jam, please join us in community for the potluck (hosted by Scott Rodwin).

The cost for the jam will be $10-20.  The potluck is free.
